The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science was established in the academic year 2022–2023 with an initial intake of 60 students. The intake was increased to 120 students from the academic year 2024–2025. It offers a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Anna University. The program aims to equip students with technical skills in data processing, analysis, and visualization for a wide range of real-world applications. It also aspires to develop accomplished, innovative, and ethical data scientists who can identify and solve complex problems in industry or as entrepreneurs.
